1ST TASK 1.2 My expectations that need to be met in this general education course

 

It is not a secret that many Filipinos are unfamiliar with much of the country's literary heritage, especially those that were written long before the Spaniards arrived in our country. When I was in high school, our teachers repeatedly discussed about the country's history during the Spanish colonial era. Filipino identity is the main goal of studying Philippine literature, it is a way to be enlightened in different ideologist and perspectives. How the Philippines changed throughout history only proves that literature presentation of the society and individual. In literature, students improves critical thinking skills, express one's self, to develope wider perspective events, and even writing opinions and the truth. Literature is the safe and traditional learning to which we learn about thee wold and pass on values from one generation to another.
